About Headhunters

Mark Raisler and John Arnold incorporated Headhunters in the fall of 2007, with the idea of creating a fly shop dedicated to customer service, education and the best guides on the Missouri. The shop didn't need to be big. It needed to offer customers what they want; great customer service and flies in a friendly atmosphere. We don't want anglers to be intimidated.

It didn't take long to realize that fishermen were looking for just such a place. Our business has grown dramatically in the 3 seasons we've been in existence. Headhunters reputation as a place where fisherman and guides can get accurate information, quality products, the best guides and socialize over a free cup of coffee has spread well beyond the borders of Montana.

Employment

Guiding

Guided Fly Fishing will always be the focus of our business. After all, we're guides ourselves. We understand that you can put up with a lot on a fishing trip, but poor guides are intolerable. No matter what you see going on in our store, guide performance and happy clients are always foremost on our minds.

Community

Headhunters is more than a fly shop. It's a community. We keep in constant contact with many of our customers throughout the year. Our wildly popular blog let's our freinds keep up with what's happening at the store, in Craig and on the Missouri -- or wherever we are. Many of our friends make the trip to Craig to participate in special events, like our annual showing of the Fly Fishing Film Tour, 4th of July festivities, or winter fly tying nights.

Philanthropy

The Headhunters staff and guides are happy to donate time and products to a variety of local and national organizations. During the 2010 season, we happily donated time to the following organizations:
